This  question raises almost every beginner, intermediate, and those who are not sure of what the right measures for building backlinks to your site.

If your site is new then it is very important not to overdo the number of backlinks at the start when Google still can not believe your site.

All you have to do gradually, in order for Google to look as natural as possible. Also, it is important to use different methods of linking to not become suspicious.

For example, if the first 5 days only rocked links from forum profiles and signatures, and to a large extent, this could  be very suspicious and risk to Google penalized your site.

Be sure to keep an eye on this from the start, as this site is new and while you are in the process of building a reputation in the eyes of Google. The goal of everyone who works on site optimization is to Google  just loves and adores your site. If you want your love and well ranked, you can not cheat Google, but the head of optimization and backlinking work as natural as possible, gradually, and with different methods.

So, how many backlinks you build, you decide for yourself.

There is a certain number of each site for the story itself, but there are some general numbers that can be the guiding star when you start optimizing your site.

When you create a website or blog, set up only on page optimization, post, 1-2 post, index site and let it sit for 2-5 days.

Already after a few days you can slowly begin linkbuilding.
The first 5 days you can build for example the 10-15 links a day. Google will not be all that backlink to index all of a sudden, some of the following day, and some only after a month.

The next 10 days you can slowly increase the amount and strength of the backlinks built. So the 10-15 can figure slowly increase to 30-40 per day.

Then, in the last 15 days of the first month, the number of backlinks can increase up to 70-80 backlinks a day with no problems. Of course, try to build on those links as many different ways as possible.

After the first month linkbuilding lighter, but you can slowly begin more serious and involved building backlinks.

Daily approximate number could be as high as 100-150 exchange also different methods.
After 3-4 months of active and intelligent work on creating backlinks through various methods but should be seen very nice results.

After this period does not need to stop with the building of backlinks, but if you are satisfied with the achieved position, to manage the site and at least build some backlinks a day, and keep it in” active” for that matter.

So will Google make it clear that it was not in the one-off SEO spam campaign to achieve something and after it ceased to exist, and in this way you will prevent someone else to go with linkbuilding campaign and will soon overtake. Therefore, make your site stronger and stronger , because you never know what someone is planning.

Keep these backlinks on record also.  You will want to learn the PR to each backlink, the domain authority of the site, and whether the link is Dofollow or Nofollow.  Dofollow links are favored by Google and Nofollow links will still be followed by other Search engines. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, research the suggested topics!

INCREASE YOUR RANK WITH BACKLINKS

The basic idea of building backlinks is that google still value websites through good backlinks. With that in mind, a niche’s community becomes Google’s informal poll for every site. In theory, if  blog or post has garnered the attention of readers, it must be worth of sharing on search rankings.

Of course, reality never goes quite according to plan, and once the search results became skewed toward aggressive SEO, Google started tweaking to protect its primary revenue source.

That doesn’t mean that Google has abandoned its system entirely. Backlinks must still be part of any SEO strategy, but the old methods are no longer a viable option.

Google algorithm update

A couple years ago Google changed it’s algorithm to try and prevent websites from gaining any benefit from selling links by removing the PR (Page Rank) from most link pages on the Internet (which included link pages in directories). Google also encouraged the use of “rel=”nofollow” on outgoing links if site owners wanted to preserve the PR on their web pages.

Recently, due to Google’s Panda and Penguin algorithm updates, now even link trades, or other forms of what used to be acceptable methods of gaining links, are being filtered out of search results if they encompass a high percentage (or ratio) of your overall link profile. In other words, Google is able to recognize and filter out a major portion of your traffic if it finds unnatural patterns in backlinks on your site. The links coming into your website should be from quality sites with relevant content (not content or link farms) and it must not look like you paid someone to do it or that you did it yourself.

What Google wants to see now is “organic” links, i.e., the incoming links look as natural as possible, preferably within the content of a page. When Google is looking at your linking profile it doesn’t like it when you use the same words in the anchor text of the link, or when you link to the same page all the time (other than your home page or using your business name). Of course the best way to get these is to produce something that people find very useful that they link to on their own, such as helpful tips, tutorials, videos, etc.

If your website has dropped in rank in Google recently it may be due to either a penalty, being filtered out of results, or a majority of your backlinks no longer being counted due to the sites you got backlinks from were penalized so their links no longer produce any value for your site. Which of course means that you need more better quality links.
